The Importance of Judicial Diversity and Inclusion in New York Courts

The Franklin H. Williams Judicial Commission and The City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law’s Center on Latinx Rights and Equality (CLRE) will host a Zoom Webinar, The Importance of Judicial Diversity and Inclusion in New York Courts, on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. This program will address the state of judicial diversity and inclusion in the New York State court system, recent developments and recommendations to improve judicial diversity. The panelists will include: Hon. Erika Edwards, President, Judicial Friends Association; Hon. Sallie Manzanet-Daniels, President, Latino Judges Association; Hon. Lillian Wan, President, Asian American Judges Association; and FHW Commission Co-Chair, Hon. Troy K. Webber.
