Senovia Moncada, is a Lead Equal Opportunity & Title IX Investigator with the University of Rochester’s Office of Equity and Inclusion. Ms. Moncada ensures compliance with the University’s Policy against Discrimination and Harassment, as well as federal Title IX regulations. Senovia conducts internal investigations into allegations of discrimination and harassment on the basis of a protected class. Prior to joining the University of Rochester, she was an Associate at a mid-size law firm in Rochester, New York, practicing civil litigation.
Ms. Moncada previously served as Co-Chair of WBASNY’s Amicus Committee and Co-Chair of the CLE Committee of her Chapter, the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys, (“GRAWA”). She sits in various community boards including Borinquen Dance Theatre, a Rochester based dance company that provides underrepresented students with the opportunity to develop and practice self-discipline through the mental and physical training afforded by dance. She also volunteers with Operation Freedom Ride, a Rochester based dog and cat rescue, fostering dogs.
Ms. Moncada is a 2018 graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Law and received her Bachelor of Arts in History, with a minor in Global Gender Studies, from the University at Buffalo in 2014.
