The Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (“WBASNY”) is pleased and proud that Governor Andrew Cuomo and Senate Democratic Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins are advocating for immediate action to protect the reproductive rights of all women throughout our state. It is imperative that the rights women have come to rely on be codified into state law so that we may all take a collective deep breath and rest easier, knowing that women will maintain the right to make decisions regarding their own bodies.  We applaud the Governor’s and Leader Stewart-Cousins’ efforts and remain ever dedicated to advancing the rights of women, throughout our state and our nation.
